"Vacationing Captain"
In contrast to other feedback, we arranged our trip from the UK to Key West and faced no issues. Silver kept us informed about everything, including flight schedules. We did miss our flight in Orlando because of huge security delays, but the representative from Silver got us on the next available flight without any extra fees or hassle. The flight itself was great—on schedule and the plane was spotless. Overall, we were quite impressed.

"Isn't it time to shut down airlines like this one?!!!"
What in the world is a well-known airline like United Airlines doing partnering with such a terrible airline? It's obvious the CEO doesn't give a hoot and honestly should face some serious consequences. There are major safety issues, staff that are downright rude, and delays that stretch on for hours (5 or more) along with canceled flights that leave passengers scrambling for other arrangements. The problems just keep piling up. Plus, this airline is about to be kicked out of MCO airport for not paying their fees, and that's the truth! The FAA really ought to step in and shut this airline down for good, hit the executives with hefty fines, and penalize all the airlines that are still code sharing with this reckless operation for allowing this mess to continue.

"This airline needs to be grounded"
After checking out the terrible reviews and major safety issues surrounding this airline, I opted to go with a more trustworthy option. I reached out to Silver to cancel my flight. They said I’d get a refund. Yet, I’m still waiting on that refund. Had to file a dispute with my credit card company.

"Avoid This Airline at All Costs!"
I want everyone to hear my story and steer clear of this airline! Where do I even start? On our trip to Charleston, we were told to shift seats due to weight issues. No biggie, right? But then they crammed us into a back corner with no reclining seats and zero air circulation. Folks around us were fanning themselves like crazy. We were stuck with the stench from the bathroom right next to us. Meanwhile, the flight attendants were having a little get-together, chatting loudly and even resting on my friend's lap. Now, let’s talk about the return trip. We boarded and sat on the runway for about half an hour before they turned us around and told us to disembark because the plane was overheating. Great, right? They asked if we wanted our carry-ons back, and I said yes. Thirty minutes later, I was informed it was in baggage claim. I had to trek all the way back out of the airport, grab my bag, go through security again, and ended up missing my flight. NO ONE WAS THERE TO HELP US! Not a single person at the desk. I spent six hours on the phone and never got through. No rental cars were available. I had to shell out for a hotel, and now someone’s driving from Florida to South Carolina to pick me up. It’s now 9 PM, and I still haven’t spoken to anyone from this airline. No apologies, no food vouchers, no hotel accommodations. It felt like a big 'screw you' from them. Seriously, folks, do yourself a favor and avoid traveling with this airline.

"My flight got canceled just a day prior..."
They called off my flight a day ahead of time and won't pick up the phone for me to sort out a refund.

"Terrible customer support"
There was zero communication from the airline regarding our delayed flight. A quick text or call would’ve been appreciated so we could’ve shown up at the airport a bit later. The check-in agent was incredibly rude and as unhelpful as they come. She insisted I had to take my laptop out per TSA rules. I mentioned that TSA permits laptops in checked luggage and asked her to verify. She insisted I remove it and carry it on instead. Then, she grabbed my bag and slammed it onto the conveyor belt. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this airline if you can.

"Silver Airways: A Disappointing Airline Experience"
To be honest, they really need to step up their game. I tried calling them and ended up waiting on hold for 45 minutes, only to get no response. That’s just not right when it comes to customer service, if you ask me. They went ahead and cancelled our flight without offering any alternatives. In fact, they scrapped two days' worth of flights both ways. This was my first and definitely my last experience with Silver Airways; I’ll be spreading the word about how unprofessional they are. How can they do better? For starters, they should actually pick up the phone and not leave folks hanging without any options.

"Bags Gone, Customer Lost for Good"
If I could give this company a zero, I would. My bags went missing on January 16, 2022. I went through their claims process, but communication was totally absent for six months. I called a ticket counter and finally got through to Customer Service after two days. They told me to follow yet another process. Fast forward ten months, and still no resolution. I'm out $600 for stuff I had to buy. This company clearly doesn’t care or have any intention of fixing things.
"Avoid This Airline at All Costs"
You can't count on this airline to actually get you where you need to go. There are always delays, and they have serious issues with how many bags can be taken on board. I was supposed to fly at 2 p.m., but it got pushed back to 10 p.m., and then the flight just never showed up. They told me to either find a hotel myself or crash on the chairs outside the airport near the parking lot, hoping a flight would pop up in the next three weeks. I ended up shelling out over a grand to book with a different airline. When I finally asked about my suitcase, they just pointed to the tarmac where it was sitting with another bag. A guy ran out, grabbed it, and told me to have a nice day. Honestly, I wouldn't wish this airline on my worst enemy.
"Journey on Flight 95 from New Orleans to Jacksonville"
Took flight 95 from New Orleans heading to Jacksonville, Florida. It was a solid trip. There was a slight delay, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. On the return, I hopped on flight 96 back to New Orleans. It was awesome! I even got to snap a pic with one of the pilots.

"Silver Airlines Deserves a 0 Star Rating"
I’d give Silver Airlines a zero if I could, but since that’s not an option, I’m stuck with a 1. I booked a round trip flight with them, only to get an email saying one part of my journey had changed. The info was pretty vague, but I figured out that the return flight time was different. Then, a day later, I received another unclear email confirming the time change and mentioning that part of my trip might have been cancelled. I tried reaching out to the airline to get some clarity, and it took me two days to finally connect with them. When I did, they told me the outbound flight was cancelled, but the return was still on. I asked if I’d get a refund for the cancelled part, and they said yes. I even rented a car for the first leg of my trip, only to find out on the day I was supposed to fly back that Silver had refunded my whole trip, despite me telling them I still needed the return flight. They didn’t send me any notice about cancelling everything, so I was completely in the dark until I tried to check in. To sum it up, when I called to sort things out, they said there was nothing they could do and I’d have to buy a new ticket at a much higher price since it was the day of the flight. Then, they just hung up on me while I was still talking.

"Disappointed with Silver Airways Customer Service"
I’m really let down by the service from Silver Airways. First off, they let me book a flight after hurricane Dorian when the airport was closed, and they had no clue if the flight could even happen, plus they didn’t mention any issues with the service. They took my full payment right then and there.
A few weeks later, I got a message saying my flight was cancelled and I needed to call a specific number. After waiting on hold for what felt like ages, I finally got to talk to someone who wouldn’t give me a refund and only offered a one-year credit, which honestly wasn’t much help for me. I asked to talk to a manager, and they said someone would get back to me, but that never happened. I reached out to the Guest Relations email, and they just told me to call that same number again, even though my complaint was about that service. Eventually, I got through again and, very reluctantly, accepted the credit. Then came a bunch of emails explaining how to use my credit, but the links they provided didn’t work. I still can’t figure out how much credit I actually have. It looks like that part of their website hasn’t been updated since 2014, which is pretty outdated.
All in all, this has been a really frustrating experience, especially when I compare it to American Airways, who changed a different flight for me and offered a full refund or change right away, and I was able to reach them in just two minutes.

"A Disappointing Experience - Customers Treated Poorly During the Holiday Season!"
Silver Airways really dropped the ball this holiday season! This morning, my boyfriend had a flight from Orlando MCO to Pensacola that was supposed to leave at 7am. With the holiday rush, security and check-in were understandably chaotic.
He arrived the suggested 2 hours early and was traveling light, but he and four other passengers still couldn’t make it to the gate in time for boarding.
The female attendant on duty flat out refused to let them board because they didn’t arrive at the gate 15 minutes before takeoff. The four of them watched the plane sit at the gate for an additional 20 minutes—plenty of time for them to get on board—before it finally left.
What’s even worse is that the guy who tried to advocate for the group was penalized for speaking up. He explained that they all made it to the airport on time, but with the holiday madness, they were delayed. He pointed out that the plane was right there! He even mentioned he had a connecting flight at noon and was eager to get home to his family.
But she didn’t care one bit. In fact, she seemed annoyed that he dared to question her decision, telling him there were no more flights available for the day. Then, just five minutes later, when my boyfriend asked again, she suddenly had two seats on a flight leaving at 5:20pm.
This attendant clearly relished the little power she had. It’s just sad and disappointing. You’d think an airline would have some sort of policies or training in place to prevent customers from being treated like this.
She made four people miss a flight that they shouldn’t have. To top it off, she lied to a paying customer, jeopardizing his chance to spend the holidays with his family.
We’ve all been in situations where we’ve waited for a late passenger. I’ve seen airlines hold planes for a single person rushing through security! These folks were at the gate with time to spare and were still denied boarding!
I didn’t expect much from Silver Airways, but I thought basic courtesy during the holidays was a given.

"Avoid Silver Airways at All Costs!"
We had a booking for flight 0125, Code PCTHQI, from Jacksonville, FL to Key West FL on December 3, 2014. Our flight with Silver Airways was supposed to leave JAX at 10:00 AM, touch down in Fort Lauderdale (FLL) at 11:44 AM, and take off again at 12:15 PM. The plan was to arrive at our final stop, EYW, by 1:18 PM. Instead, we didn’t get to EYW until 10:00 PM that night. What should’ve been a 3-hour journey turned into a grueling 12-hour ordeal, and it wasn’t even because of the weather! We could’ve driven to Key West faster and for way less cash! To make matters worse, when we finally got to Key West, our luggage was nowhere to be found, and it took us another day and multiple trips back to the airport to retrieve it. Even after making several calls and submitting our expenses through their website, we never saw a dime in compensation. Not for the 9 hours of vacation we lost, not for the extra 9 hours of rental car fees, not for the resort costs for those hours, and not even for the baggage expenses. Plus, no one could tell us why our flight was delayed or when it would actually arrive. If we had known, we could’ve just canceled and driven instead. But the absolute worst part? The customer service—or lack thereof! We did get an automated email on December 15, 2014, saying a Customer Relations Team Member would look into our situation and get back to us soon (usually within 72 business hours)... Well, it’s been three months, and I haven’t heard a peep. That was my first experience with Silver Airways, and it left a terrible impression. Now, I’m determined to spread the word about our awful experience.
